Playing music in OverMedia is as easy as it sounds! Simply pick a song on your computer from the File menu (or press Ctrl + O on
your keyboard), and OverMedia will load the file inside of the media player. The controls are located at the bottom of the window, and they're the same for video files.
OverMedia supports a wide variety of new codecs, as well as newer MP3 tags for your songs.
Watch your video files the same as listen to music in OverMedia, but make sure to select the proper option related to videos in the File menu. Even though OverMedia supports various file types, be sure that your video is in the proper format first before playing it. When a video is loaded in the media player, OverMedia will display a short status text at the bottom left of the window, mentioning what is currently being played, and if the video is paused or stopped. If OverMedia does not play your video file even though it has the right file extension and is supposedly the right format, your file may be corrupted or unsupported (using codecs that are not present on your system, or ones that the media player does not support).
