OverPicture 2023 (2.0.0.1) introduced the "Slides List" feature. This feature is meant to help users group images into lists specific to their computers, and view each list separately once made.
Any image type that OverPicture 2023 supports can be integrated into a Slides List (.ovpct file extension), as long as the file exists on the user's computer and it is not corrupted or broken.
OverRender OverPicture Sides List files are simple text files (renamed to .ovpct to distinguish them from other text files) that contain the full path of each image
that the user chose to integrate into their Slides List. This means that they cannot be opened on machines that do not have the same file structure as the one that was used to create the Slides List.
Once a Slides List is created, the user can choose to add more images to it (from the Slides List dropdown menu), or remove images that they do not want anymore. Each edit to the Slides List
can be saved using the Save command in the File menu (or by pressing Ctrl + S on your keyboard).
If your Slides List has remaining unsaved changes upon closing the software, OverPicture will ask you if you'd like to write those changes to disk or discard them.
Check a Slides List properties by using the appropriate option in the Slides List dropdown menu. Doing this will open a dialog box, showing you where the Slides List has been saved, as well as
other information regarding your images.
Opening a Slides List on top of another Slides List will close the first one, as OverPicture can only load one Slides List at a time.
When opening a Slides List, OverPicture will scan the pictures listed inside for corrupted data. Each file marked as improper will be listed at the end of the opening process (inside of a dialog box), telling you which
files could not be opened. This message can appear for several reasons: incorrect picture format, improper color depth, non standard files, etc.
