Managing images in OverPicture 2023

Common

Any existing image can be removed from OverPicture by using the appropriate command in the dropdown menus, as well as pressing Ctrl + K on your keyboard.
Doing this does not delete the image from your computer, it only removes it from what OverPicture has in memory.

Version 2.0.0.0

OverPicture 2023 RTM (2.0.0.0) only supports opening images, wheras newer versions support adding images to your currently opened ones.
This means that every new image you open will replace the existing ones inside of the picture viewer. Version 2023 RTM supports opening an entire folder, but you may experience lags and crashes when loading too much images and opening the Slides picture list.

From this point, OverPicture can add images to its currently opened images list by using drag and drop. This feature supports adding multiple images at once, at the only condition of them being valid.

Version 2.0.0.1 and newer

Newer versions of OverPicture support opening entire folders better (no crashes and less lags), and introduced the Add menu, inside of the File dropdown menu. Those versions make a big difference between opening and adding images. This new feature prevent currently opened images from being removed from OverPicture. The Add command also supports adding complete folders.

Version 2.0.0.0 also introduced new tools, like the ability to check each image's properties, as well as making Slides List (a help topic about that can be found here on this page).
